“If you want God to do something new, you cannot keep doing the same old thing.” This is my favorite quote from Mark Batterson’s book Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge, a spin-off of his popular book, The Circle Maker. Not only is this statement true, but Batterson leads you through how to make changes in your prayer and devotional life so that you open the door for God to do something new and different in your life.

The book is arranged in a way that makes it simple to stay on track with bite-sized daily readings, prayers, and journaling. You’ll be inspired to pray and use more scriptures in your prayers as you line up your requests with God’s word and will.

If you’re ready to break out of your spiritual routine and form some new, exciting prayer and devotional habits, I can’t recommend this book enough. This book will help you breathe new life into your spiritual practices, increase your level of faith and understand the power of praying without ceasing!
