Prayer- Our Lifeline To God.

“Search me, (Examine my intentions) O God, and know my heart: try me, (prove me) and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way (any way that would bring me inner pain and regret) in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (and lead me in the way of everlasting life.) Psalm 139: 23-24. (with my own insights added.)   “Let my prayer be set forth (directed) before thee as incense; (as that which is like a sweet fragrance; both pleasing and acceptable) and the lifting up of my hands (in praise, adoration, and thanksgiving) as the evening sacrifice.” (as my act of worship.) Psalm 141:2. (with my own insights added.)  “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; (your life or Spirit is goodness itself) lead me into the land of uprightness.” (lead me into the Kingdom of Heaven.) Psalm 143:10. (with my own insights added.)       Jesus Christ knew in the very depths of His heart, mind, spirit, and soul that without constant prayer to God, His Father, His connection to Life itself was broken. The Spirit, or Life of God is in all goodness. As anyone lives a life of True Goodness in harmony with God’s Will; their life will be like a sweet fragrance that is both pleasing and acceptable to God. May nothing but wholehearted devotion, a life of purity, and true goodness towards all be our living sacrifice to God now and always.   Prayer       Oh Lord, Our God, it has been stated that whoever is wise, and will observe these things of Your Word; even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the Lord. May this truly be so for us and everyone now and always. Direct our hearts towards You and your Son Jesus, our Master and Savior. Amen.
