Another entry from the book: “How To Weave The Character Of Christ Into Your Life.” Trusting God With Our Concerns. By Timothy Baugh. March 17, 2019.

“Be still, (don’t be anxious, fretful, or worried) and know (acknowledge and understand) that I am God… I will be exalted among the heathen, (unknowing and unbelieving) I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46: 10. (with my own insights added).   “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, (Give all your problems and concerns to God) and he shall sustain thee: (and he shall support you) he shall never suffer (allow) the righteous to be moved.” (the faithful believer in Him to be discouraged or shaken in his faith). Psalm 55: 22. (with my own insights added).   “In God have I put my trust: (unwavering faith and confidence) I will not be afraid (apprehensive or scared of) what man can do unto me.” Psalm 56: 11. (with my own insights added).       When our problems and concerns seem overwhelming and insurmountable; we either avoid dealing with them or cry out in utter frustration. Jesus didn’t want to run from His difficulties. Facing them ‘head on’ He could trust that even though He couldn’t solve them- God, His Father could, and would! May we likewise find ourselves able to do the same when faced with anything.
