The Word Of The Lord. (A poem. Rewritten, as inspired.) Copyrighted. By Timothy Baugh. For March 29, 2019.

He has filled me with words of truth; (Jesus Christ speaking of God, His Father) that I may speak the same. And like the flow of waters flows the truth from my mouth, and my lips slow forth His fruit. He (God) has caused His knowledge to abound in me, because the mouth of the Lord is the true Word, and the door of His light. The Most High has given light to His words, which are the interpreters of His own beauty, and the repeaters of His praise, and the confessors of His counsel, and the heralds of His thought, and the chasteners of His servants. For the swiftness of the Word (its hidden wisdom) is inexpressible. Like its expression is its swiftness and power. Its course knows no limit. (Its depth is unfathomable). Never does it fail, (to reveal His truth and to bring to light) but it stands sure, and it knows not descent (into foolishness and falsehood) nor the way of it. For as its work is, so is its end. It is light and the dawning of thought. By it do the worlds talk one to another; (Heaven speaks to Earth) and in the Word itself were those that were silent. (Only felt in the depths of the soul.) From it came love and unity; and they spoke one to the other in harmony whatever was theirs. For they (His people) were penetrated by the Living Word of God. And they came to know of Him who made them, because they were in concord; (agreement) for the mouth of the Most High has spoken to them (through me); and His explanation is made known by means of it. Blessed are they who by means thereof have understood everything, and have known the Lord in His truth. Hallelujah. Amen.
