“Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, says your God. Speak ye comfortably (to the heart) to Jerusalem, (the Church) and cry (announce) unto her, that her warfare (appointed time of battle or struggle) is accomplished, (has served its purpose) that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. The voice of him that cries in the wilderness, Prepare (make ready) ye the way (the path for his arrival) of the Lord, make straight in the desert (the desolate places) a highway for our God. Every valley (low and depressed situation in your life) shall be exalted (become joyful and happy) and every mountain (obstacle to your advancement) and hill (moment of struggle) shall be made low: (easier to go through) and the crooked (that which is wayward) shall be made straight, (smoothly navigated) and the rough places (difficult, hard moments) plain: (easily understood) And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, (made known) and all flesh (all that is of the sinful nature) shall see (comprehend) it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.” Isaiah 40:1-5. (with my own insights added.) “Verily, (most honestly I speak) verily (most truthfully I speak) I say unto you, (my followers) the hour is coming (when your souls shall awaken) and now is, (to accept and repent) when the dead (spiritually unresponsive) shall hear the voice of the Son (the sinners shall hear and feel the Word of God spoken) of God: and they that hear (that have a heart of purity shall respond) shall live.” (shall live in the Spirit of God forever.) John 5:25. (with my own insights added.) Are we preparing our hearts, and those of others, for the coming of the Lord? When the Students are ready the Teacher appears. Amen
Mamma, this is the eighth year without you.
I miss you so very much. The sweet scent of your clothes that I will never forget,
I find myself lost, a grandmother myself now as I think of everything that happened between us. The good and the sad but I love you and you loved me that is my memory.
I know you are in Heaven, were saved and I will see you again then our joy will be real and forever with Christ and all those that we love, together because prayers count and Salvation is free. I pray for all of my family to be saved and I will see many someday.
I hope it does not sound morbid, that is not my intention. I just miss my mamma and we suffered and laughed together very much,
Pat, la Tua,
