He Is- Faithful

1 Corinthians 1:5–9

Paul reminded the Corinthians that they didn’t lack anything, that God would keep them “firm to the end” (1 Corinthians 1:8), that God would make them blameless, that God called them into fellowship with Jesus. The Corinthians’ salvation did not depend on them; it depended on God, and he is faithful.

When you feel poorly equipped to live a life that’s pleasing to God or to endure a particular trial, remember that your salvation doesn’t depend on you. True faith is not based on your ability to come through for God but on his faithfulness to keep his promises—which he’ll always do because he’s faithful.
