Don’t Give Up – A Different Perspective – September 29

Don’t Give Up
by Berni Dymet

Gal. 6:9 So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest-time, if we do not give up.

Have you ever been caught in traffic and you change lanes without really looking. The car behind you slams on its brakes and blows its horn. And the easiest thing of all to do is to blow your own horn back, shake your fist, let out a few choice words. Oh! It’s been a long day. I’m running late. The traffic’s terrible. Just cut me some slack here you idiot.

We’ve all been there probably. The pressure’s on. The constant grind. We’re getting weary – and it’s all just too hard.

It’s time to start acting up. It’s time to start reacting.

But that’s exactly the time – when things are tough, when the pressure’s on – that’s exactly the time to remember who we are. And not to grow weary of doing the good that we really know we want to.

Because here’s God’s promise: just keep on patiently plugging away, doing good – and you will reap a harvest. When? At harvest time. Harvest time is surely coming. In the mean time – just don’t give up.

Here’s a vital question for you to consider: If you died tonight, would you be ready for eternity? Now, many people know that it’s all about having a simple faith in Jesus Christ. Nothing more, nothing less. But … do you have the sort of faith that Jesus talked about? To help you answer that question for sure, that’s what our latest Life Application Booklet is all about: Three Things I Absolutely Must Do Before I Die. We would absolutely love to send you your very own FREE copy to help you make sure that you have the right answer, to the most important question of all.
