Treasures of the Word – Octobre 18

Treasures of the Word Devo Banner

October 18

WRITING:

“The humble will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek him will praise the Lord; your heart will live forever ” (Psalm 22:26).

BIBLICAL TREASURE:

Do you know why people come across inappropriate websites? Perhaps you fight in this area yourself. It is because they are not feeding on Jesus. They seek satisfaction in the malevolent pleasures of this world, rather than the eternal promises. Suppose you just finished a wonderful dinner and someone knocks on your door. You open the door and they offer you a plate full of aged crumbs: “Take this, eat it.” You would reply: “No thanks, I don’t need it. I am satisfied”. When you delight in the benevolence of Jesus, you will not go down a dark alley to eat cans with the devil’s goats.

“Jesus said to them: I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will never be hungry; and whoever believes in Me will never thirst ” (John 6:35).

ACTION POINT:

The next time you go to church, note the number of people who do not attend; pray for them. Ask God to make you thirsty and hungry for Him.
