God Knows … When I Have Been Left Out – Part 3
Jesus had a special job for his followers. “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you every day, until the end of the world.”

Jesus Returns to Heaven
Being left out is not so bad IF you know that the person who left still loves you and always will; IF you have something to do that will keep you busy; And you DO know that it’s only for a while.

The day came when Jesus would leave Earth. 40 days had passed since his resurrection. Jesus and his disciples were walking on the outskirts of Jerusalem towards the Mount of Olives. There, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus raised his hands to bless them. The disciples watched him in amazement as he slowly ascended into the sky. They tried to see it as much as possible, until a cloud of glory covered it.

They heard someone say, “Men of Galilee, why are you looking at the sky?” Turning around, they saw two angels who had come to give them encouragement. “This same Jesus who has been taken from you to heaven, so he will come as you have seen him go to heaven.” (Acts 1:11 )

The disciples walked thoughtfully back to Jerusalem. Jesus had given them an important job to do; share the good news of love, forgiveness, freedom, and salvation with others. They were to spread His love everywhere. This job would keep them busy!

The disciples had been left out but they knew that their separation from Jesus would only be temporary. When He returned for them, they would live with Him forever! “

The disciples no longer had to worry about the future. With a sense of triumph and gratitude, they told and recounted the wonderful story of Christ’s resurrection and His return to heaven. .

Jesus had said, “I ascend to my Father who is your Father, and to my God who is your God.” The family of heaven and the family of Earth are one great family. This we must remember the next time we feel that we have been left out or left behind!
