A hidden treasure
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Ephesians 1: 3
There is no way to understand the riches that God has provided for those who love his Son. The treasures he has prepared are endless. Jesus said “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man finds, and hides it again; and joyful about it he goes and sells everything he has, and buys that field” (Mt. 13:44). The apostle Paul quotes the prophet Isaiah when he says: “Things which the eye has not seen, nor has the ear heard, nor have come up into the heart of man, are those that God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Cor. 2: 9).
The good news is that if we love the Son of God, we inherit all the riches of the Father. If we believe in Christ, we have an unimaginable treasure.
