WRITING:
Proverbs 22: 6: “Train a child in his way, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
BIBLICAL TREASURE:
A boy rode his bike over and over around the block. A man asked, “What are you doing?” He replied, “I am running away from home.” “But you’re just going around the block, ” the man said. The boy explained: “That is because my mother does not allow me to cross the street!”
Even at the earliest ages there may be self-control in a child’s heart due to the godly training of their parents. The only way I learned to play soccer was on the training ground. The classroom was not enough. Parents must provide training and education for the lessons of life in order to instill them in their children.
ACTION POINT:
Has God given you divine responsibility to be a parent? So, spend some of your time this week training your child in an area of godly living.
