Water II – A Poem

Does water ponder,

Does it muse over:

Whether it garners

Applause, fame, favors,

Meandering in valleys,

Quenching water lilies.

Skirting forest timbers,

Does it ever pine

Under the tall pines

As it carves rivers.

Does water wonder

At the healing power

Of its pure ambrosia.
